Emilie Petrin

Metchosin

How are they making waves?

Emilie Petrin is an apprentice farmer at Metchosin Farms, known for their locally sourced climate change resistant seeds and planting methods.

Emilie came out West from Quebec to pursue her passion for climate change adaptation and interest in regenerative adaptation, which led her to Metchosin farms.

She now works with other growers and works in the greenhouse preparing seeds for planting and learning sustainable gardening methods.

Applications of innovation for future use

Emilie hopes that through her time at Metchosin Farms she can learn to utilize these sustainable practices and continue regenerative adaptation work in the agricultural industry.
